HULL McGUIRE LAWYER TO SPEAK AT MEXICO CITY CONFERENCE
WASHINGTON, D.C./PITTSBURGH/SAN DIEGO - February
18, 2005 - On March 3, Hull McGuire PC shareholder Daniel Hull will speak
to the International Business Law Consortium (IBLC) in Mexico City on
targeting, obtaining and keeping large business clients in
"boutique" law firms -- law firms under 100 lawyers which limit
their practice to special practice areas. Between March 2 and 5, the IBLC
will conduct two sessions - one in Mexico City and a second in Puebla,
Mexico, conducted in cooperation with the Universidad
Iberoamericana-Puebla. Topics presented and discussed will include hiring
local counsel internationally, servicing large business clients globally
and current developments in global trade.
Global Group of Law and
Accounting Firms
Based in Salzburg, Austria, the IBLC is a
group of 85 select law and accounting firms in strategically located
cities worldwide. Membership is by invitation. The IBLC is an arm of the
Center for International Legal Studies (CILS), also based in Salzburg and
established in 1976. The IBLC has a Business Development Group founded in
1999 by IBLC lawyers from North America, Western Europe, South America,
Asia and Australia. It provides a working legal clearinghouse for
corporate clients to use across the globe. The Business Development
Group will meet March 2-3 in Puebla.
Business Development Group
"Each of the law firms in the IBLC's
Business Development Group is very much like Hull McGuire: high-end
corporate boutiques who work internationally," Hull said.
"Fortune 500 and large, privately-held clients have used firms from
the IBLC's Business Group rather than using their traditional, large law
or accounting firms for international legal services," according to
Hull. "Clients get high quality legal products with real service and
lower price. It works."
