International Business Law Consortium Conducts 
Meetings in Milan and F
lorence, Italy

Pittsburgh/Washington, D.C./San Diego - September 3, 2009 - Dan Hull, a shareholder with the Pittsburgh-based law firm of Hull McGuire PC, will participate in the Fall meetings of the International Business Law Consortium (IBLC) in Milan and Florence, Italy from September 30 through October 4.

In Milan, the IBLC's Milan member will host a one-day program on September 30 on current country-of-origin problems facing manufacturers in the global marketplace. IBLC members from Italy, the United States, and China will lead discussions on how both intellectual property and customs law impact the issue.

In Florence, beginning on October 1, the IBLC hosts a larger and extended set of meetings on a number of global trade subjects. Michael McIlwrath, Senior Counsel, Litigation for General Electric Infrastructure - Oil & Gas will conduct a program entitled "Doing Business in a Downturn Economy: Conflict Avoidance and Dispute Resolution Strategies for Private and Public Players."

In addition to his in-house duties for General Electric, McIlwrath, a well-known expert on global mediation and arbitration, is also a mainstay of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution in New York City. McIlwrath is based in Florence.

IBLC

Founded in 1996, and based in Salzburg, Austria, the IBLC (www.iblc.com) is an active alliance and a clearinghouse for law and accounting firms numbering in size from 10 to 300 lawyers. It has 100 members in strategic cities all over the globe, with one member per city. IBLC membership is by invitation only. The group's members work in clusters to service business clients all over the world.
