Hull McGuire Adds Tax Lawyer Ralph Minto, Jr.
PITTSBURGH - September 3, 1999 - Effective July 1, tax
lawyer Ralph Minto, Jr. will join Pittsburgh-based corporate law boutique
Hull McGuire PC as Of Counsel. Mr. Minto, a licensed CPA,
focuses on corporate transactions and reorganizations in addition to
taxation. He comes to Hull McGuire after building a successful
small law firm of his own during the past 25 months.
"This could be a perfect fit," said Julie
McGuire, Hull McGuire's managing shareholder, also a tax attorney and CPA. "Like
us," she continued, "Ralph Minto works very closely with
businesses which have traditionally hired much larger law firms. We
are really excited about working with Ralph."
Mr. Minto is a 1983 graduate of the University of
Cincinnati's College of Law. Before forming his own practice
and joining Hull McGuire, he worked at Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst
& Young) before entering private practice with Pittsburgh lawyer Frank
Mast in 1989. In 1995-1997, he joined Volk, Robertson &
Hellerstedt in both Pittsburgh and Weirton, West Virginia. Mr.
Minto is currently serving his second four-year term as Councilman for the
Borough of Franklin Park. He is also the Chairman of the
Allegheny County Civil Service Commission.
