Bodine Joins Hull McGuire As Of Counsel
PITTSBURGH-SAN DIEGO-WASHINGTON, DC - February
25, 2009 - Robert E. Bodine, a respected intellectual property and
corporate lawyer based in northern Virginia, will join Hull McGuire PC as
of counsel, effective March 1, 2009.
Mr. Bodine will assist Hull McGuire shareholder
Dan Hull in IP-related matters in federal courts (including appellate
work), regulatory disputes and legislative matters in Washington, D.C. He
will also focus on the transactional side of IP: software license
agreements, copyright protection for artistic works, and trademark and
service mark protection for goods and services.
Mr. Bodine holds a B.S. in Physics from the
University of Maryland (College Park) and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent Law
School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Intellectual
Property, and from which he holds a Certificate in Intellectual Property.
He began his legal career with Vedder, Price,
Kaufman, & Kammholz in Chicago, where he focused on patent and
trademark prosecution. Before law school, Mr. Bodine worked for eight
years as a computer consultant both in the government and private sectors,
specializing in database application development and requirements
analysis.
